▢2 tablespoons canola oil ▢1½ pounds chuck roast or sirloin steak sliced into bite-sized strips (or ground beef) ▢¼ cup all-purpose flour ▢½ teaspoon salt plus more to taste ▢½ teaspoon pepper plus more to taste ▢2 cups full-sodium beef broth ▢1-2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce ▢3 cups (or 12 ounces) medium egg noodles ▢1 cup sour cream ▢¼ cup whipping cream ▢1-2 teaspoons garlic salt ▢fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions STEP - 1

In a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. In heated oil, toss the meat with flour, salt, and pepper before cooking for approximately 2 minutes per side.  

STEP - 2

Simmer the broth and Worcestershire sauce for fifteen minutes. Meanwhile, prepare egg noodles per the instructions on the container. Drain once complete.  

STEP - 3

Stir in sour cream, whipping cream, and garlic salt into the meat mixture.

STEP - 4

Toss noodles with the meat to moisten, or serve the meat over the noodles. If necessary, add additional pepper and salt to flavor.

STEP - 5

Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
