BUTTERMILK WAFFLES RECIPE

Ingredients 

▢ 2 cups all-purpose flour ▢ 2 tablespoons sugar ▢ 2 teaspoons baking powder ▢ 1 teaspoon baking soda ▢ ½ teaspoon salt ▢ 2 cups buttermilk ▢ ⅓ cup butter melted ▢ 2 eggs ▢ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions STEP - 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

STEP - 2

In another medium bowl, whisk together buttermilk and butter. Add eggs and stir until combined.

STEP - 3

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and whisk until just combined (there were still lumps). Fold in vanilla. Let batter rest for 10 minutes.

STEP - 4

Preheat waffle iron and grease. Pour about ⅓-½ cup of batter into the waffle iron (or until batter reached about ½ inch to the edge of the iron).

STEP - 5

Cook until ready. Top with syrup and berries.
