CHICKEN FINGERS RECIPE

Ingredients 

1 1/2 lbs chicken breast trimmed and cut into strips (approximately 3 large breasts) ▢1 cup all-purpose flour ▢1 tsp salt ▢1/2 tsp pepper ▢2 eggs ▢3/4 cup bread crumbs (I used Italian but regular works great too) ▢1 cup panko bread crumbs ▢cooking spray

Instructions STEP - 1

Glaze the oven at 400 degrees. Coat or line a baking sheet with cooking spray or parchment paper.

STEP - 2

Whisk together the flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish or pie pan. In an additional shallow dish, gently whisk the eggs. Whisk together the conventional and panko bread crumbs in a third dish.

STEP - 3

Before placing the chicken on the prepared baking tray, coat each piece in the bread crumbs and flour before dipping it in the egg. (To avoid a significant disturbance, I find it practical to dip the dry ingredients in with one hand and the eggs with the other.)

STEP - 4

Lightly spray each chicken strip with cooking spray. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked and golden brown. 

STEP - 5

Children adore these nutritious chicken finger sandwiches: baked chicken fingers. Chicken that has been panko, flour, and egg-dusted before being baked until perfectly golden! In addition, they are incredibly simple to prepare.
