1 lb penne pasta ▢4 tbsp butter ▢2 tsp minced garlic ▢3 chicken breasts cubed ▢3 tbsp all-purpose flour ▢1 cup chicken broth ▢1 cup half and half ▢1 tsp basil ▢1 cup grated parmesan cheese ▢garlic salt and pepper to taste

Instructions STEP - 1

Cook pasta as directed on the package. In a medium sauce pan, melt the butter and sauté the chicken until thoroughly cooked.  

STEP - 2

Cook the garlic for one minute over medium heat. Cook, stirring continuously, for an additional minute while adding the flour.  

STEP - 3

Assemble the broth and milk while whisking continuously. Stir the sauce until it thickens and boiling.  

STEP - 4

Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley. Add pepper and salt to taste. Maintaining a stirring motion, soften the cheese. Serve without delay.

STEP - 5

After pouring the sauce over the pasta, serve.
