COCONUT COOKIES RECIPE

Ingredients 

▢ 1 1/4 c all purpose flour ▢ 1/2 tsp baking soda ▢ 1/4 tsp salt ▢ 1/2 c butter ▢ 1/2 c brown sugar packed ▢ 1/2 c sugar ▢ 1 egg ▢ 1/2 tsp vanilla extract ▢ 1 1/3 c coconut flakes

Instructions STEP - 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F/175 degrees C In a small mixing bowl add the the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix and set aside.

STEP - 2

In a separate medium sized bowl add the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Cream them together until smooth.

STEP - 3

Add the egg and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Add the flour, a little at a time, until incorporated. Mix in the coconut.

STEP - 4

Drop, 3 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet.

STEP - 5

Bake until lightly toasted, about 8-12 minutes. Move to a wire rack and cool.
