½ cup brown sugar ▢½ cup sugar ▢¼ cup unsalted butter, softened ▢¼ cup vegetable oil ▢1 egg ▢½ teaspoon vanilla extract ▢½ teaspoon baking soda ▢½ teaspoon salt ▢½ teaspoon baking powder ▢1½ cups all-purpose flour ▢1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions STEP - 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  

STEP - 2

Cream the brown sugar, sugar, butter, and vegetable oil in a medium basin. Whisk in the vanilla and egg until the mixture is light and airy. Mix in the flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder until just combined. The chocolate morsels are folded in.  

STEP - 3

The cookie mixture should be spread in the cake pan that has been prepared. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are faintly browned. After removing from the oven, allow to chill entirely.  

STEP - 4

In order to prepare the frosting, cream the butter, cocoa powder, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Beat in the vanilla and one tablespoon of milk until combined thoroughly. As necessary, add more milk to achieve a light and airy buttercream.  

STEP - 5

Utilize a large open star tip to apply dollops of chocolate frosting on top of the cookie cake in order to embellish it. Adorn with vibrantly colored sprinkling.
