Corn Barbecue recipe

1 4 ears of fresh corn, husked 2 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter 3 Barbecue seasoning (you can use store-bought or make your own with a 4 mix of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and a pinch of cayenne pepper for heat) 5 Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions STEP - 1

Prepare the grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375-400°F (190-200°C).

STEP - 2

Prepare the corn: Remove the husks and silk from each ear of corn. Rinse the corn under cold water to remove any remaining silk strands.

STEP - 3

Brush with oil or butter: Brush each ear of corn with olive oil or melted butter, ensuring they are evenly coated. Season the corn: Sprinkle the corn liberally with barbecue seasoning, making sure to coat each ear evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

STEP - 4

Grill the corn: Place the seasoned corn directly on the grill grates. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and slightly charred in spots. Be careful not to overcook, as the corn can become tough.

STEP - 5

Serve: Once the corn is cooked to your liking, remove it from the grill and transfer it to a serving platter. Optionally, squeeze fresh lime juice over the corn and sprinkle with chopped cilantro or grated parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
