3 cups all purpose flour ▢1 1/2 cups sugar ▢1 tsp baking powder ▢1/4 tsp salt ▢1 cup unsalted butter chilled and cut into chunks ▢1 large egg ▢30 oz peaches drained and cut up ▢4 tsp cornstarch

Instructions STEP - 1

Preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

STEP - 2

Together in a medium basin, combine flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk in the butter into the flour mixture. Add the butter and mix in with a pastry cutter or fork to produce a crumbly consistency. Add the egg to the mixture after whisking it slightly. Lightly grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and press in half of the dough.

STEP - 3

Combine the cornstarch and the remaining half-cup sugar in a separate basin. Mix the sliced apricots into the mixture gently. Peaches are spooned over the pressed pastry. The residual dough should be crumbled over the peach mixture.

STEP - 4

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes at 375 degrees. The crown ought to be marginally brown in color.

STEP - 5

Allow to settle prior to slicing into squares.
