▢4 – 6 red potatoes cubed ▢1/2 c water ▢1 1/2 TB butter ▢1 1/2 TB brown sugar ▢parsley or your favorite herb/spice ▢garlic salt and pepper to taste

Instructions STEP - 1

In a saucepan, combine red potatoes, water, butter, and brown sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.  

STEP - 2

Reduce to low heat and simmer for six minutes, or until tender.  

STEP - 3

Return to high heat and saute the potatoes until tender and all of the water has evaporated. It took me an additional ten to fifteen minutes.  

STEP - 4

Eliminate from heat. Add pepper and salt, then garnish with cilantro; savor.

These glazed red potatoes with brown sugar have quickly become our favorite side dish. Red potatoes are prepared in an incredibly straightforward manner, requiring only FOUR ingredients. Red potatoes with tender skin that are liberally coated in a decadent brown sugar glaze are adored by all.
