3/4 cup uncooked medium grain white rice ▢1 1/2 cups water ▢2 1/2-3 cups half and half divided ▢1/3 – 1/2 cup sugar ▢1/4 tsp salt ▢1 egg beaten ▢1 tbsp butter ▢1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions STEP - 1

Bring the 1 1/2 cups of water to a simmer in a saucepan. Once the water reaches a simmer, stir in the rice. Cover and reduce the heat to medium. Allow to simmer for twenty minutes. Ensure that the rice is cooked completely.  

STEP - 2

The boiled rice should be transferred to a clean saucepan. Blend in 1 1/2 cups of half-and-half, salt, and sugar. Prepare until creamy over medium heat. 15 to 20 minutes.  

STEP - 3

After adding the remaining half-and-half, proceed to incorporate the beaten egg and raisins. Continue cooking for two minutes. Irrigating consistently.  

STEP - 4

After removing from heat, incorporate the butter and vanilla.
