VEGETABLE SOUP RECIPE

Ingredients 

2 14.5 oz cans chicken or vegetable broth low sodium ▢1 14.4 oz can diced tomatoes undrained ▢1 tbsp onion powder ▢1 cup carrots peeled, chopped ▢1.5 cups golden potatoes peeled, cubed ▢1 tbsp parsley ▢1 tbsp Italian seasoning ▢1 cup fresh green beans chopped ▢1 cup corn canned or frozen ▢garlic salt and pepper to taste

Instructions STEP - 1

Combine minced tomatoes, chicken broth, onion powder, carrots, potatoes, parsley, and Italian seasoning in a saucepan. Increase to a simmer.  

STEP - 2

After decreasing the heat, stir in the green beans. The broth should simmer for 25 minutes.    

STEP - 3

Season the corn to taste with pepper and garlic salt. Continue simmering for five minutes. Serve warm  

STEP - 4

Comprised of tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, corn, and green beans, this vegetable broth is nutritious, filling, and delicious.
